You may have a fever or it could be normal for you.
98.6 is the average normal temperature for people. So, 98 or 99 may be normal for some people. You should know what your normal temperature is. But regardless, with a sore throat and burning eyes, you are sick. See a doctor to make sure it's not strep throat.

Your temperature is completely normal.Physical activity as well as mental problems ( anxiety stress ) can increase body temperature up to 100 degrees.I would say the very fact that you are worrying about this is what causes the temperature to be little more higher then normal.Couple of years ago I was also constantly have a low grade fever aroun 99 -100 degrees and done all kind of tests etc and doctors didnt find anything, that is untill one doctor said I was having anxiety disorder and prescribed some pills for that and voila next day temperature was normal. So bottom line you should go to the doctor and do some basic tests if you think something is wrong,if everything is ok,diagnosis is then : stress and anxiety

You have a low grade fever. It's a little high, but not dangerously so. You might be coming down with a cold or something. Drink fluids and rest when you can.

Fever is considered 100 or more. You have an elevated temapture. If you have sore throat and burning eyes you most likely are reacting to mold or pollen in the air. Take some allergy medicine.
