Alot of times we as christians are afraid to ask ourselves the questions that i ask, but im bold enough to ask them.we as christiian are made in the image of God. We were sent here to speak his word, live his word, and to deliver his people from the hands of the enemy. but how can we deliver people from the world if we are acting like we still belong to world. Not all christians are like this but im talking to the ones that are.

The lord has delivered me from the world i know for a fact bacause majority of the things that they are doing i used to do but do no longer. so dont be mad because i askd that question if i did offend you i am woman enough to apologize to you but not for the question i asked.

Heavenly,
Your Question is:
"How can we deliver people from the world if we are acting like we still belong to the world?".
Well, first of all, your maturity and faith for someone of only 21 years, is to be commended. Especially considering many young people today. These are evil times indeed. Not that evil has not always been in the world; but, these are evil and unstable days indeed.
You say that, "We were sent here to speak his word, live his word, and to deliver his people from the hands of the enemy".
We are to "speak his word" , we are to "manifest his will for us" in our lives;
And we are to spread the Gospel (if that's what you mean by "deliver his people from the hands of the enemy"): Matthew 28:19-20:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Because, infact that's what we are doing when we spread the Gospel. WE ARE DELIVERING FROM THE HANDS OF SATAN (THE ENEMY). Those that recieve it and obey it (it, the gospel): are freed from the bondage of sin.
So, how can we deliver people from the world if we are acting like we still belong to world?
Well, we CAN'T do our job of spreading the gospel as well as we should, if we are acting like the world. You are right.
I know at times, I can make mistakes and not do as a christian should. Sometimes in word, sometimes in deed. But, when I do, it's my duty and honor to go to the Lord, and repent; ask for forgiveness. And if that offense was toward another, go to him/her and ask for forgivness.
Certainly people that profess to be christians, and unrepentantly continue in any of the sins of the world, DO THE CAUSE OF CHRIST NO JUSTICE.
We all are at different growth stages. And yes, we need to be careful to not get slothful in our growth processes. We have to be honest before God. Examine ourselves daily.
"Picking up your cross and following him" (Mark 8:34-38) means PUTTING DOWN the things of the world that beset you. (drugs, unlawful sex, bad converstion, idolatry, covetousness, pride, greed, lying, stealing, etc), and following Him.
Peace is in Hm

First of all. I don't know who told you that Christians can deliver anybody anywhere, other than maybe to the store and back.
2. Why is it, YOU are still of this world?
Don't include ME, when you say: (WE) are of this world.
If you see a Christian that is "of the world". This is interesting. You just did a major goof. Perhaps, if you removed your Halo* and make less light dimming qualities surrounding your existence, you might see things the way they really are.
The fact is: When God reveals by Prophecy, that He has anointed YOU, as a measuring rod to measure all other Christians by. I'll accept your standards of perfections.
.
You find this offensive? .Good.
I'm sure you just offended several people. I think maybe this is called. "You reap what you sow".
.You specifically said" Christians. You didn't say, Christians that are not true. ok?
It is a thing called "Spiritual Growth". Just because a Christian is new or doesn't display the Spiritual Growth the same as someone that has been grounded for 40 + years...wouldn't this be a indicator?
There is a big difference between spiritual growth and eating manna. What I'm suggesting to you is this:. Be careful, real careful about Christians being of the world. it may very well come back and bite you on the snout.
Just a mere word of advise my friend.

That is a exception question. I really love the fact that you are bold enough to ask that question. I asked some Christians I know that question and they got all upset. To be truthful, I think they do those things because they are influenced by those around them and they want to get the girls/boys,money and clothes like everyone else. They are not doing anything but following the devil's work when they should be following God's work.

I think I am one of those people you are talking about. And the fact of the matter is, how can I reach people, bring them to God, if I am not like them? I make mistakes, daily. I make choices I know God may not be proud of me for. But I love him, I believe with all that I am, and because I am human, and ready to admit I am not perfect, merely forgiven, reaching people is easy, as I put no expectation on them.

I most suitable Christians when I see them choose different human beings and brush aside different beliefs. To me, love and tolerance are the cornerstones of the Christian faith. when I see some Christians diverge from this direction, I even haven't any situation attempting to carry them back.

It stinks, you know? We want to reflect God's glory to the world, show them who God is, yet we're sin-infested. I guess we have to make use of the Holy Spirit, or else we're just gonna screw everything up.
