Saw it last week in person. It looked better in person than in print--it feels like the original Landcruiser with all the modern bells and whistles.
The suicide doors make it really functional, like a Honda Element, but with cooler styling. It was roomier than I expected. For the price and the gas mileage, it looks like a good deal.
I wasn't sure I was into the retro dashboard, I don't like the art deco thing Toyota is doing with all their cars this year.
I would consider the FJ, but I want 4 doors on my next vehicle.

I've never heard of a Toota before. :) At least you would be different if you got on, gas mileage isn't the best, but could be worse. The styling is something different. Not a car that I would buy, but thats just me.

Would much rather have a Nissan Xterra. Better looking, better driving. Retro vehicles lose appeal and resale suffers - even Toyotas.

great ride and one of the best new four wheel drive vehicles. A bit of a difficulty looking out of the rear quarter windows.

Get the back-up warning system you cannot see around the back of that SUV.

Don't like it. In 10 years it will look incredibly stupid.
