Yes, as Gloria stated, crate train it. The grown size of your dog will determine the size of the crate you need. Crates also come in handy when you sit down to a meal and you don't want the dog hovering around the table. Dogs do not like to sleep where they have gone to the bathroom. Get a crate...it will be too big for your pup right now so block the back section of the crate off with boxes leaving just enough room for the dog to just turn around and lie down. Put a blanket down where you want him to sleep. Remember that most dogs have to "go" about 20 minutes after eating. Don't give your pup anything to drink prior to going to bed for the night. There will be the odd mistake but not too many. You have to be attentive and learn your dogs "signals" about going to the bathroom. Good luck!!

You take the puppy out to potty on a regular basis..every hour to hour and a half, after playing, after naps and after eating. You don't allow the puppy unsupervised run of the house. When the puppy can't be supervised you confine it in a crate or in an area that is easy to clean. Don't expect the puppy to be fully housetrained until it is at least 6 months old. Housetraining takes time & patience.

Um... you don't want it to piss on anything valuable in the house??? That's like asking a baby not to poo in his diaper. Patience and praise work best with a dog. Praise him when he goes outside. Make a big deal about it and give him treats. He will learn, but it will take time. Don't yell at him or spank him if he pees in the house, this will only upset him.

You need to crate train its the best way but you have to make sure he only has enough room to get in and turn around any more room and he will prob. pee in it or you could try potty pads

In the store they have puppy training pads where they're suppose to piss but otherwise i guess it would help if you showed him another dog doing it and hit him or yell everytime it goes in the house.

When he has and accident, gently scruff him (in the same manner his mother would) put his nose very close to it and firmly tell him "No!" than take him immediatly outside... and whenever he eats or drinks take him out...
