As a teenager you tend to have different hormones and appetites so you may eat more than usual but your overeating may be due to comfort eating or boredom. Perhaps you are feeling a bit stressed or down about stuff (eg boyfriend, school, exams, home etc) and you are turning to food as comfort or maybe you are bored so you eat.
Its easy to say "stop eating" so much, but its better to address the underlying problems/issue so if you are comforting eating, try speaking to someone (be it a parent, family member, friend, school teacher, counseller) about your problems and work through it. If you are just eating out of boredom, then write a list of all the things you would like to do, eg horseriding, reading, swimming, skating etc and look at how you can get started into it rather than just sitting at home eating.
Its always a good idea to incorporate some exercise into your daily regime (30 minutes minimum). Exercise like jogging, swimming, cycyling, aerobics are v.good as they will not only burn off any extra calories but will keep your figure down and are good as stress busters too.

are you just eating cause you are bored?
If so why don't you find something to do when you just feel the craving of food and not hunger.
You really don't need to stay away from the food maybe try drinking something, cause most of the time when you are craving food you are just thristy.

Get a digital scale and step on it several times a day. When you see your weight goes up daily, hopefully you will lose your appetite.

Whenever I get the munchies I chew gum. Few calories and keeps your mouth busy. This always helps me!

Just redirect your cravings and munch on carrots whenever that "craving alarm" goes off.
