Are we really going to heaven when jesus comes back? I ask this question because a guy on here ask were we ready and most of th answers was yes. Think about though when Jesus comes back these are the type of questions hes going to ask. Did you deliver and bring all the people i told you to bring back to me so that they me delivered and set free? Did you really seek me with all your heart? Did you follow my commandments? Did you raise your kids the way i told you to raise them? Did you really love me like you said you did? I told you to rid yourself from all worldly things but yet you still was drinking, partying, smokiing, having sex before marriage, shacking. I know my word says that knw one is perfect but were you really trying to live holy and righteous or were you living how you want to live because of my mercy and grace are sufficient for you? I ask myself these questons and now im asking you. Dont get mad these are questions we have to ask ourselves.

This is for atwolf yes thats right jesus does forgive us for our sin but like you said does that gives us the right to keep sinning when we know its wrong. When you give your life to christ sin becomes then a choice and you are held acountable for your choices. no one is perfect but god that is true but i feel we shouldnt let that be an excuse for us to sin.

mr.Mister if you think that the questions i asked have nothing to do if we are going to heaven then maybe you need to read your word. The church i attend feeds me very well. And yes the bible does say study to show thy self approved and trust i study. What i dont understand is why do people get mad about questions like th one i asked if its not pertaining to you then you dont have to respond instead of giving a rude remark.

God, is not going to ask YOU one question on judgment day. period. Let alone all these question you dreamed up. There is ZERO scripture about Any question you just mentioned.
God, is going to ask Jesus, if He knows you.
Jesus will say. yes, He is my sheep.
or
He will say: depart from, I never knew you.
I don't know where you dreamed this up, Living the 10 commandments idea or raising kids, blah blah.. I don't know what preacher you have, but unless he changed his Teachings, I would suggest maybe, reading for yourself and learning Truth.

Hold on, hold on.... you're leaving out one essential part of Christianity... FORGIVENESS. That's what Jesus' saving grace was all about. It doesn't matter how badly you've screwed up; He is always willing to forgive you and when you become saved, your sins are washed away in His eyes. To Him, they don't exist.
Christians are still people, and they make mistakes. When they do, God is disappointed, yes, but He's always willing to forgive and forget. NOTHING can stop you from going to Heaven if you're a Christian. (One thing I probably should point out: Some people "become" Christians then renounce Christianity... I think it's because Christianity never really took root in their hearts, so they weren't *really* Christians from the start.)
However, we shouldn't take this as an excuse to keep on sinning. (not deliberately, anyway). We should honor our faith and God with our actions... at least try to act as much a Christian as we can. Jesus understands that Christians screw up, they make mistakes, but He will be disappointed if they continue sinning even after they know they're doing wrong. (Although it won't affect their likelihood of getting into Heaven.) And God DOES punish wrongdoing. Think if it as a Father disciplining His children; he does it for their own good.
(To any atheists reading this: Yes, yes, I know this is Christian dogma, B.S., whatever you wanna call it, but read the heading of this question- "for Christians ONLY." So you really have no business here.)

Will Jesus ask all those questions? Or will He just go to your name in The Book of Life for the answers?
Hope you delivered the souls he ask you to deliver.
Hope you sought Him with your heart.
Hope you followed the covenant of Commandments.
Hope you raised your children to be Christians - they will answer to how they lived.
Love Jesus.
Be prepared to answer why you where shacking up; nothing wrong with smoking and drinking in moderation and a by-product is the taxes you pay to the state and federal government, an the jobs you provide to those working in those industries.
Thank you for sharing the questions, so all may make adjustments to the style of living--before it's too late.
Those passengers on the Com-Air jet had no idea at all their plane would crash and death was at the of the short runway.
May God be with you every day and hear your prayers for reconciliation

Hi Heavenly
NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read. It say's what it means. It means what it say's. You will not need for anyone to interpit. Don't believe anyone. Yep Anyone. Believe the Bible.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Mic 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Do have a great day.

Aren't you really saying that if we don't keep all these rules that God won't let us in? But wouldn't that make salvation a matter of works, not grace? In Galatians, Paul was fighting tooth and nail against a works-based salvation. Check it out and see.
Also, ponder Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which WE have done, but according to HIS MERCY he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost." (Caps mine, for emphasis.) I think this verse tells very clearly why He will let us in: His mercy, not our works.
Anything else really makes salvation depend on you being perfect, which is not possible.
Last verse to contemplate (speaking of Jesus Christ, here):
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
May God help you see the truth of His mercy and His full provision of salvation in Jesus!

Yes. People, with faith, real faith, will not likley go around working against God. We all make mistakes, bad choices, whatever, but when we repent, we turn from it, learn from it and change it, we are assured of grace to forgive us of our sins, making heaven attainable.
Works wont get me into heaven, bad works wont keep me out if I believe, good works wont get me in if I dont believe, or vice versa.
Have I lived right? No. Am I prepared to answer for that? Yes. Have I asked for forgivness? Yes. Did I recieve it? God promised me I would, so yes, I am heaven bound.

Grace vs Sin.
We praise God with our lips and hurt our brothers with our hands.
It's a huge issue, especially today in the world.
God alone is the judge of man, and He alone truly knows our hearts. It's not like no one will go to heaven, but there will be a lot of people who cry 'Lord, Lord!' who will hear Jesus say 'I never knew you'. It's sad, but it's what some people have chosen.
