Money is no object. I just want to have the best around. Some companies I've considered: Wolf and Maytag.

If i were you, i would go for the wolf gas stove top, double ovens, and inside grill top.
This way you can cook up for entertainment or just for you family with efficiency.

Best is always relative. Check consumer reports. BTU's are not always an indication of the best. Clean-ability, reliability etc
Also since it is a range, go for the dual fuel. Convection oven is a must. The fan within the oven circulates the air insuring even cookinig, faster cooking and less energy used.
You pay alot of for the wolf/viking commercial look, unless you are a professional cook, cook alot or just want to show off stick with the GE profile series, get the same results and save the thousands for something else.

My wife loves the Siemens ceramic top range/convection oven I bought her.

The best range is always the one your neighbor has.
Let them buy it and you just go over and cook.
Keeps your kitchen clean. No mess, no fuss.
And the money stays in your bank!
