this person has seizures, cerbral palsey and moderate retardation.
seizures are controlled by medications. Has been hospitalized for
1 week receiving antibiotics and fludis thru IV for 1 week.

It takes a long time for your lungs to clear when you have pneumonia. I was hospitalized for a week when I was 30, and didnt have the DD problems on top of everything. I dont know what effect the developmental delays , CP, and seizures would have on the lungs clearing, but I imagine it would take at least a week, and the doctors would probably monitor the patient more closely since he/she wouldn't be able to communicate how they are feeling.
