I have been spending a lot of time with my bestfriends boyfriend (nothing she doesnt know about) and he is a really cool guy. Well we talk a lot about the guy I'm with right now and her boyfriend keeps telling me I should break up with the guy I'm with. He's been dropping hints about the two of us getting together which is something I would never do because he belongs to my bestfriend and I would never disrespect her like that...but he's been calling me a lot lately and I dont think she knows about it. He could just be really concerned about my well being bc the guy i'm with is a jerk...but he may be trying to get closer to me in the wrong kind of way. Should I tell my best friend that he's been calling and what if I'm totally wrong and she takes his side or something. I dont want to loose either one of them as friends...What should I do??

Avoid him. If your boyfriend is really a jerk, maybe break up with him still. BUt do your best to avoid your friend's boyfriend. The only time you should be with him is when you're with her, too. Try to avoid his calls, and when he does call, let your friend know everything you guys talked about, and how often he calls you.

It would devastate your friend if her boyfriend dumped her for you- whether or not you date him, she'd hold a grudge thinking you trie to split them apart, so all you can do now is let her know everything that goes on so she knows you didn't make any kind of moves to lead him to believe that you were into him.

You should ask your friends boyfriend. Tell him you are getting some mixed signals that make you uncomfortable. Tell him you like him because he is a great guy for your best friend and you would never date him. Friends just do not do that to their friends.

I think it is fine if he gives his advice for you and your boyfriends relationship. Tell him you do not feel comfortable hanging out with him. See what he says and then go to your friend and tell her what has been happening.

Good luck.

its simple. you don't tell your friend but you do stop all contact with him unless she is there. if you are her best friend then you should be able to do this. she would never suspect her best friend would cheat with her boyfriend and this would devestate her if she knew that either one had feelings for the other. stay away from him unless she is there and start being a true best friend. good luck.

If he was any good at all he would be faithful to the one he is with, sounds like he thinks its all a game. Do you honestlly believe he will faithful to you if he is not to your friend, Please! I would tell your friend whats up so she doesn't end up really getting hurt, If your really a friend anyway and IF you care.

What you should do is stop spending so much time w/him so there is not an opportunity for that kind of behavior. I wouldn't tell your friend when u r not even sure of his intentions....
