I don't know but it's dead popular in this UK household. Very good in a crab sauce for crab fishcakes. This involves, if you're interested, tin of campbells tom soup and tin of pea soup, tin of crab meat and a lot of lea and perrins.

I always have it in my fridge...its only about...$1.50 here and after coupons its about .50 cents a bottle so its cheap...
