I think that stories from the old time that we used to read when we were young about castles, evil sorceres, etc. can teach him in an indirect way that there may be evil in the world but if you are steafast and go on the right road, no matter what hardships, you can overcome whatever comes your way.

This is a VERY SERIOUS subject. My advise would be tell him that some people are naughty..,even adults. You must protect him from whoever it was that did it, and instruct this little boy that this behaviour is definitely not acceptable to his mummy and daddy. You must say to him that you will protect him, and that any hurt will go away after the proper and appropriate affection administered by the guardians or parents.

Some one mentioned to teach him about God...this is the best cure you can give him...He needs to know that God is good...and so is Jesus...and that there are bad people in the world and that he did nothing wrong.. He needs to know that the devil makes some people do bad things ...he needs to know that what the person did was a bad sin and God will punish them some day for doing it...because God punishes people who do bad things to children... He needs to know that we have to forgive..and to go on with his little life and that there is a place waiting for him. God is the answer no matter what anyone tells you...

i hope the person who hurt him is getting molested in prison as we speak.

professional counceling is a must for overcoming such a traumatic experience.

and be there for him. love him. nurture his talents, hobbies, and interests. encourage him to do well in school. let him have more opportunities to hang out with kids his own age. it'll be good for him. don't be overprotective of him- that will only have negative consequences.

Talk to him about it, I am sorry your grandson has to go through that, he will need your support, just be there for him. I hope whoever did this to him is behind bars. Nobody should ever have to go through that. Best of luck.
