As a Trad Catholic I cover my head for Mass so as to cover my personal minor glory so that attention is not taken away from Christs exquistie glory. "Because of the angels..."

Absolutely not. It doesn't make you anything. What it means is that the person calling you that has issues. That's all.

Rag head is usually a deragatory term for a Muslim, but your a Cathiloc. SO someone probably said it because of the pic you have, since theirs a scarf on the head.

If they called you that, they dont know what it means, wich is a hateful term towards Muslims. Dont worry about it. Someone will ALWAYS find some mean thing to say to people the disagree with.

Sweetheart you are very dear to God the father don't let what other say about you bother you. Just because you cover you head when you pray does not make you a raghead it makes you respectful to the Lord. In the Bible the women always coverd their head when they when to pray.
They are just jealous of you dear and the heart that you have for the Lord don't let what they say about you sway you to stop wearing a cover for your head when you pray. Follow your heart dear and you can't go wrong.

Men who wear turbans are called rag heads. Not women who wear prayer cloths. I am of from the middle east. I ride camels. I do not wear a turban. I guess I'm not a rag head. They call me some other name which I wont repeat here.

Debra, did you fail to read all the responses to a similar question you asked two minutes ago? If so, let me repeat; the expression is a slur used against people who wear turbans. Since you already know what it is, I think it is offensive that you used it in yet another question that will be seen by many people who may feel hurt by the term.

Since the term is an ethnic slur, you should report people who use it. Click the little flag dealy and select Epithet or Slur from the reason, paste the offending comment.

There shouldn't be that sort of thing on this service; it's up to us to report them.

I think your head scarf is wonderful and wish American religions had some kinds of ceremonies to strengthen their faiths and attitudes too. You're not a "raghead" to me. Ignore whoever called you that.

well, evidently to some people the answer is YES.
Racism always looks for new victims.

also some of the racial slurs involving Muslims are ( towel heads and sand ni ggers ) and looks like many young americans like to use those terms.

No, what you wear is a "do rag". A raghead is a racial slur involving middle eastern peoples that wear turbans.

Its your choice. Many people are just plain ignorant. And most people assume you are Muslim because they did not read you profile. Catholic women have worn mantillas on their heads for centuries.
