Im probably not much help - I have arguments with myself - I think I want food but then I think well your not hungry so dont eat - this can go on for ages I dont eat till I have sorted out in my mind wether I really do want to eat or not - usually some time has passed and I realise I dont actually want to eat as Im not hungry - put simply try to wait for some time (maybe 20-30 minutes) and the craving will pass

Be sure that you are getting the necessary amount of calories and vitamins a day, and that you are not ignoring cravings altogether. Drink a lot of water, especially ice cold water. It helps burn a few calories also, since your body is using energy to keep the internal temperature inside up.

Use subliminal music to curb your eating disorder. You can get a subliminal tape for a few dollars on the internet but you have to download it. Try someone like www.subliminalsales.com I just got me the quit smoking one and I listen to it when Im on my computer. So far I have cut from a whole pack a day to 1/2 a pack with the cd. For a few dollars it doesnt cost that much to try so what the heck ya know?

wait fifteen minutes after a craving. but if you are hungry for a stake or something meaty, you are craving protein and you should eat that. only ignore sugar cravings by distracting yourself from it or indulging in a tiny bit--enough to keep you satisfied.

"The only way to avoid temptation, is to give in to it." I forget who said that. A true craving is something your body really needs. If it is just that you want a candy bar, deny yourself and reward your denial with a warm bath or something sensual.

Develop a deep interest, or passion in something that requires you use your hands as well as your brain. Piano, painting, woodcraft, knitting, something along those lines, that provides you with prolonged periods of deep concentration, that takes your mind off food.
