I am a 46 year old pancreatic cancer patient. Cost should not be an issue right now. Saving your life should be. Sooner or later you will get a bill and EOB from your insurance. If you are questioning a bill look what your insurance will cover in network or out. I have had some bills adjusted due to the hospital mistake of charging for out of network when my clinic and procedure was in network and covered. Have a friend or your caregiver Work with a financial advisor at the clinic or hospital they are great in helping you in this time of high stress and stress is the last thing you need right now. I have recieved bill from $10,000.00 to $17,000, but with insurance my out of pocket has been minimal. Cost will also vary from state to state from what I have been told. I hope you are not having issues with cost and this is just a question to see what the cost is in other areas. Stay positive and strong.

The radiation therapy cost varies from country to country. I do not know where from you are and the facilities available for radiation treatment.

My mother is a patient of Carcinoma of Cervix (Cervix cancer) and she was given 30 sittings of external radiation by Linac (Liner accelerator) machine and 2 sittings of Brachytheraphy (internal radiation) in India, apart from surgery and chemotherapy done earlier. The radiation therapy procedure alone costed slightly over 1.00 lack rupees. I am just giving this for your information However you can enquire locally where you indent to have treatment.

You can also visit the following web sites to have an idea about the cost of these treatments.

worry about your health first. your pocketbook later.

pancreatic cancer is very dangerous b/c the cancer from the pancreas can travel through your body very quickly because it is connected to so many organs- the liver, the gallbladder, the small intestine... just to name a few. your pancreas is also connected to your lymphatic system, which means the cancer could travel just about anywhere else in the body.

you need to get rid of this cancer as soon as possible, before it spreads!

ps) read the previous comment and think that is the worst advice you could get. the chances of getting cancer from radiation therapy are about the same as if you stood in a field of nitrogenous soil. little to none. radiation therapy has also improved in recent years, so that only the area where there is cancer is targeted.

I live in California and had radiation for endometrial cancer. I went 5 days a week for 5 weeks and then went once a week for three weeks for high dose internal vaginal radiation.

Haven't gotten all the bills yet but we were told it would cost about $57,000.

There is a much better, safer and economical way to fight cancer
than using treatments that do more harm than good, at a cost of about & 70.00 per month for 6 months.

Read my cancer testimonials on my page.

God Bless :)
