My mom really liked the Sunshine Smoothie from Sonic, but they stopped selling it. Is there anyone out there who worked at Sonic who can tell me how to make a Sunshine Smoothie?

I used to work at sonic. All it is is 1/3 of banana, 1 ladel of strawberry syrup, orange juice, and some slush. The best way to make the slush at home is to grind up ice cubes, lemon/lime juice, and some sugar. Hope this helps.

You guys are all wrong, Sonic's Sunshine smoothie is old school. Its half a banana, a ladel of strawberry ice cream topping, about a half cup of orange juice, soft serve ice cream and a little bit of ice all blended up. Remember though Sonic has the best ice, so it blends real easy.

Sunshine Smoothie
2 ripe bananas, broken into several pieces
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup orange juice, preferably freshly squeezed
1 cup lemon or orange low-fat yogurt or soy yogurt
1. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smoothly pureed. Or place in a container and process with an immersion blender. Serve at once in tall glasses.
Serves 2 to 3.

Are you talking about the Sonic Sunrise drink?? If so, all that is is a cherry limeade with orange juice added. I used to work at Sonic, but they didnt have them at the time. I believe you can get some Limeade in milk and juice section in the cooler at the store, put some cherry juice and some oj in and mix good!! With the cherry limeade all they do is take sprite and squeeze a slice of lime in then a squirt of cherry juice. Sounds yummy! I might have to go get one now!!
To make a smoothie of it, you could just add some vanilla ice cream and blend.

Are we twins? You can buy meatballs frozen without sauce from many supermarkets. Try adding them to some pasta sauce.
