technically no. The "jews" are decendants of Judah, son of Jacob. He was the great-grandson of Abraham. Most isrealis are considered "jews" though many belong to other liniages. All are considered hebrews. That is waht abraham would have called himself (most likely).
Ok, so I had to add more. Abraham was semetic, as desendant of Shem. He belonged to no religion and was neither Jew, muslim, christian or whatever. He created a few of a monotheistic god (one god instead of many) His desendants became both the jewish and islamic faiths and the Iraeli and Muslim peoples. It is this monotheistic view that flies in the face of conventional religion at the time (ie. egyptian) So the answer is no he is not a "jew".

This is a deep question. He was not a Jew as we know Jews today. The church world of today doesn't have the foundation to handle such a question.
I have a question for you. How many real red haired Jews have you seen among the Jews of today?
Jesus said, I know them that say they are Jews and or not.

Abraham and his family were seminomadic herders on the fringes of the Arabian desert. They were Semitic people, but not Jewish as we think of today. This is only the beginning. He is mentioned in all three major religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

He is the father of all Jews. God told him he would have more descendants than there are stars in the sky. You figure.

he was a Muslim. even God said it in the Quran. Abraham (peace be upon him) is the one who built the kaaba cause God told him to, so why else would he build it if he wan't a Muslim?
