I think so. They should bring back the Twin Towers. Maybe make them taller and resistant to airplane attacks. We should not allow terrorists to redesign our skylines. By building nearly identical Twin Towers, although it may be a bit eerie and haunting at first, it would send a message to terrorists that they have no lasting impact on America.

No, I don't. What's done is done and should never be forgotten. Building the same, but slightly improved buildings is like trying to make it seem like it never happened. And forgetting it bothers me.
A modern design would show that we can go forward, that we will rebuild (FU to the terrorists), and that we don't plan to forget. Besides, I think Osama got the message that we are a sleeping giant who is best left in our self-indulgent stupor of day-to-day life. I personally think they foolishly thought we'd close ourselves off from the rest of the world, instead of making it a personal (on a national level) thing to get his head. Really the terrorist would have been better off with a lot of smaller attacks on hometown America that would get everyone looking over their shoulders instead of something that pulled the entire country together in a call to action.

I think the new towers should be different. It should have it's own personallity. No matter how painful 9/11 was we need to move on. How would you like to work in the same type of towers after they where knocked down?

I don't think it would be feasible nor politically acceptable. But I do think it would be the ultimate FU to the terrorists.
