I have a date with a Japanese girl from my company on Saturday Night , are there any customs that i should know about ???? apart from being my usual charming witty self !!

It may be good to be able to spell her nationality for starters!
In my opinion you need to be yourself and see if that works! It cultural differences are too divergent it may not be good long term!!
Be yourself in my book (for a first date) should mean be respectful, funny, listen to the other person, avoid any bad habits (where possible), avoid eating messy food and if you have enjoyed the evening - tell her at the end of the night!!!
No canoodling on first date young man!!

You said the answer right in your own question. Just be yourself. You don't want to have to go throuhg life asting like the person your not. If she doesn't like you for who you are then there's no reason to be with her.

You're in luck dude. Japanese culture is such that "no" is impolite. So, she pretty much has to do what you want her to. That's why she accepted the date with you.
