I think it would be a good idea. Less people would hate other religions if they knew more about them. Also, creationism could be taught in this class and not science class.

I've never been at a public school that taught Greek Mythology. But I guess it could be an elective. So could "World's Religions". Not required, of course.

I don't know how well it would work out but if you like the idea then go ahead and write some letters!
It might be nice to have kids learn more about Hinduism or Buddhism. I think that parents in America don't teach their kids enough about these religions! Also, it'd be funny to watch the kids learn about Christmas and Easter having roots in Paganism.
Honestly, I think alot of parents wouldn't like their kids learning other peoples religions. I don't know why, but religion really sets people off.

You're full of it. You are just trying to evangelize. You play innocent with the 'well, they teach Greek myths, why don't they teach my religion'?
So here is the problem with your logic:
1) For one thing people aren't worshiping Zeus anymore.
2) Are you finally admitting your religion is just as ridiculous as Greek mythology?

Feel free to write. If you think the legislators actually care about anyone but themselves.

I'm ok with it. All evidence needs to be presented to someone so they can make an objective decision.

A better suggestion...
In order to protect our children's safety, mandatory drug testing for anyone working on their campus.
