I think it's stating that the bar tender was also Arab and he understood everything accept for coca cola...pretty dumb if u ask me.

Yes. The joke is that most Americans find Arabic incomprehensible and coca cola is one of the most recognised phrases in the world, yet the barman can understand the Arabic, but not the words coca cola.
I don't find it funny. To find it funny, you'd probably need to find people speaking languages other than English inherently funny.
