the first day of school i saw this guy that i liked. the next day i found out that he was in my lunch period. i planned on talking to him the next day but i couldn't find a good time to. i sat with my friends and one guy that knows the guy that i like and i asked him what the one guys name was(the one i liked) he said his name was tyler and i also asked him if he had a gf he said that he didn't. later on during lunch he went over and started to talk to the guy that i liked and they kept pointing at me (while i was pretending not to notice) i don't know what they said though. then i found out that my friend liked him too. i was talking to her and i found out that another girl liked him too and is going to ask him out tomorrow. i really like him and don't want that other girl to get to him first bc hes new to the school and im pretty sure that he'll go out with her but im not possitive. i haven't even talked to him yet and i don't see him till almost the end of the day. what should i do

plus he is younger than i am and seems kinda shy so thats why i thought that he would go for the first one ask him out. if that has any effect

Yeah you should totally talk to him yourself. You hearing what someone said to someone else, who said something else....that's not going to get you the correct info. Go talk to him, just something simple and go from there! Good Luck!

So, if this other girl asks him out, that means you can't??? She's not asking to marry the guy, ask him out too. What can it hurt? If you like him, talk to him. Get to know him. Being friends with this guy could be just as fun.

well girl, you should tell him something younger boys tend to be shy and won't know what to say. (trust me i know this for a fact)you should at least talk to him that way you could just say that you gave it a try!!! so tomorrow just decide to do something about it.

Either ask him on a date or ask him to hang out with you and your friends.You said he was shy so if you hang out with him first and then ask him out he'll already feel relaxed around you by then.
