I have made a yearly tradition of taking a trip during the week of my birthday (March 30th). The past 2 years I have had a babysitter whereas my kids were too young to go, but this year I want to include them. Does anyone have any ideas of a vacation spot that is kid friendly? Ive checked out Disneyworld but my boys would only be 3 and 4 at the time of the trip. I dont know if they would really enjoy it as much as they would if they were older. If you have any more suggestions, I would greatly appreaciate it.

Check out Sea World and Universal Studios. They have Dr. Suess stuff at Universal Studios and Sea World is great for any age.
If you go for a cruise - Carnival has an AWESOME kids program. It is actually better than the Disney Cruise and its cheaper.

Yes, they would love going to Disney but don't go during the spring or summer because they would be miserable because it is so hot. You should go around November because it would be cooler, but children love Disney.
Me and my husband go every year and Disney is centered around a child's imagination from the minute you drive up, your hotel, even where you eat. It really is a magical experience.

Or, you could try Beaches resort in the Bahama's, it is alittle pricey but it is an exotic vacation that is kid friendly as well. There are Seseme Street characters there and it is very beautiful.

It's great that you're spending time researching great places for your kids. I hope you guys have a wonderful time!

why do you need to go anywhere? just stay in town in a hotel and spend together time. or stay home and turn the phone off and disconnect the internet and tv. no need to spend a ton of money now. save up for later. but they are at the perfect age for disney!
please realize that when they are old enough to remember disney, they will be in school and you will have to take them some other time than your birthday. also, i don't understand the concept of taking a vacation away from the kids?!!? why not just get a sitter for a night a week to go out and be with hubby or bf or the girls???? i would never take a vacation without my kids. i'm a stay at home mom, i never get a break and i would never go off for a long period of time without the kids.
i was pregnant and my daughter was 20 months old and we went to atlantic city, nj and she played on the beach. to you it sounds like you are accustomed to this , but with all due respect, this sounds terrible to me. if they are too young to be on a vacation with you, they are too young to be away from you for such a long period of time.
you also said you don't know if they 'd enjoy disney??? well , do you know what they would enjoy??? more YOU time.

All depends how much you want to spend. Most all inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic are kid friendly. Usually the kids stay and eat for free, so basically it's just your air fare. Lots of them have children's programs for the entire day.

The coverage they gave you sounds very imprecise....what's "except be conscious in develop a pair of months"??? in the event that they are conserving your childs spot on the daycare for 5 weeks then definite they are entitled to be paid because they are dropping earnings by your new child being away for that long without different new child to fill the emptiness. confer with the daycare and notice in case you pays say a hundred% for 2 weeks (widely used trip time) and 50% for the the rest 3 weeks. Sounds to me like this daycare coverage could be made lots clearer.

I used to take my son to nature places, like beautiful state parks and stuff. They will admire that more than commercial Disney Land. They would like a warm beach place too, I would think.

Disney has a children's cruise, with games and all kinds of fun things. Check it out on their website.
