It might be a larvae stage of a flea. They are small and white as you described. Or it could be a mite. I'd make sure to brush her really well and replace her flea collar.

Depending on the age, health and other conditions of the cat, I wouldn't immediately run out and give it flea medication. Check the cats bedding if he/she has one, or the area it mostly sleeps to see if there are more. If there is just the one, it could have come from outside and be just a bug. If its a tapeworm there will be alot of them in the sleeping area, so if you find more then you will need to look at doing something about it.

It was probably a tapeworm. They usually show up on the hindquarters, as they live in the rectum. :-P Your cat has worms. Go to the vet and get a pill for tapeworms to give to your cat. 1 or 2 treatments will take care of it.

this is a flea, yet fleas tend to look black and bounce extremely than crawl - so it may desire to be some thing else. in case you could squish it surely between your arms, this is another insect. Fleas have a tough shell and are complicated to weigh down - the technique is to pinch them between your fingernails. notwithstanding if this is a flea, this is going to probable bounce off your finger as quickly as you capture it. in case you like a nearer look, attempt wetting your finger and thumb and pinching it between them. carry it there and don't launch it until eventually you have your hand in a pan of water. then you enable it pass and it drowns. in case you look at it heavily you will see the numerous flea shape, with the legs at the back of the physique. in case you weigh down the flea and upload a touch water, it turns pink, using fact it is stuffed with its host's blood. the main suitable treatment for fleas, in my adventure, is the fluid which you rub into the animals dermis at the back of its neck. It must be finished month-to-month, in spite of the shown fact that it prevents added infestation. To get rid of present fleas quickly, I constantly discovered the aerosol cans of insecticide have been maximum suitable. difficult to prepare, on account which you're able to desire to hold the cat nonetheless, in spite of the shown fact that it kills the fleas immediately. The powder is okay, yet greater sturdy to prepare and that i in no way discovered it as clever. The flea life cycle involves laying eggs on your cats bedding and everywhere else interior the abode the cat frequents, exceedingly close to materials of heat temperature. you're able to desire to hoover those factors to get rid of the eggs. it is mandatory - various the fleas honestly stay in carpets etc' and purely bounce on the cat to feed while they're hungry, so once you de-flea the cat it quickly gets infested lower back except you cope with those factors too. notwithstanding if this is a flea, act quickly to handle the infestation. The longer you leave it, the greater serious it gets and you will finally end up with fleas throughout your place. not relaxing. sturdy success.

did it look like a piece of rice? Was it by the rectum? Could be a tapeworm(an intestinal parasite). They get tapeworms from fleas. I would take a stool sample to your vet to rule this out
