It was pretty small, but not so small it wasn't visible. I'm pretty sure it didn't have wings, adn there was only one. Anyone have any ideas what it might have been?

It might be a larvae stage of a flea. They are small and white as you described. Or it could be a mite. I'd make sure to brush her really well and replace her flea collar.

Check the cats bedding if he/she has one, or the area it mostly sleeps to see if there are more. If there is just the one, it could have come from outside and be just a bug. If its a tapeworm there will be alot of them in the sleeping area, so if you find more then you will need to look at doing something about it.

It was probably a tapeworm. They usually show up on the hindquarters, as they live in the rectum. :-P Your cat has worms. Go to the vet and get a pill for tapeworms to give to your cat. 1 or 2 treatments will take care of it.

did it look like a piece of rice? Was it by the rectum? Could be a tapeworm(an intestinal parasite). They get tapeworms from fleas. I would take a stool sample to your vet to rule this out

it could be a mytr. Give your kitty a bath with flee shampoo if it kills flees it should kill any other bugs that could be on your kitty
