Anything you BOTH like to do. talk about what she would like to do the day before. A lady likes to feel like you care that she will have fun too. So call the Lady the night before the date and work something out with her. She will love that! Good luck

On my best first date we started off meeting at the cinema and we saw a scary movie. My date (the girl) needed someone to grab onto during the scary parts. This helped us relax later when we had dinner (the dinner part wasn't planned, we just decided after the movie). We got along quite well for a first date, so we then went out for drinks and some kareoke. Being well lubricated on the sauce we then proceded to go home together and sleep together. That was my best first date.

The first date I went on with my current girlfriend was the classic "dinner and movie". I thought it'd be a good idea, just in case we couldn't think of anything to talk about - you don't have to talk at a movie, see?
However, we went out for dinner before we saw the movie and I found that we could just talk and talk - I didn't even want to go to the movie because we were getting along so well, but we did anyway (I'd booked tickets!).
I think going out for a meal is the best idea, based on what just happened with me. If you're unsure on how much you're going to get along, then it's absolutely fine for you to go see a flick. Just don't make the mistake I did!
After the meal, go back to one of your houses and have a drink, maybe? Then you can arrange another date and whatever, or just keep talking the night away. You might even get a kiss. Just don't push her "sexually", that'll ruin the date...
...unless she comes on to you. Then it's OK.

Flowers at the door,dinner,drinks laughter,more drinks,laughing out loud,not caring who is around but your date,more drinks,falling on the floor laughter,more drinks,taxi ride home with lots of necking,stopping by the liquor store and (yes you guessed it) for more drinks and condoms,laughter in the taxi on the ride home,more necking.Both go inside and have drinks,feeling way too buzzed,running to the bathroom feeling sick,hugging the porcelain God while date holds hair back.Laying down after brushing teeth,passng out.Awakening still clothed and safe to a flower and a note that says:Had Fun,Lets do it again!!!LOL,it happened I swear and I will be marrying this spontaneously fun gentleman.That still makes me laugh,even when sober.A lesson that could have been a disaster if God wasnt watching out for me.BTW:Do Not Try This and make sure you Do Not Drink Too Much on a first date.

depends on your age. but i like these ideas for everyone.
zoo, botanical gardens, aquarium (more fun if you're of age to drive), puttputt, bowling
these things may seem juvinile but remember how much fun those days were? great dates because you can chat and do something
