1/4 lb bacon cut in small pieces
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
1/2 small onion diced
1 can pork and beans
Brown the bacon in a cast iron skillet and when it is half way done add the onions and saute them with the bacon. When the bacon is done and the onions are caramelized (kind of clear) add your can of beans and the other ingredients. Mix this all well and put the beans iron skillet and all in the oven and bake for 15 minutes on 325 degrees. If you don't have a cast iron skillet just put it all in any small baking dish like a bread pan.

I add BBQ sauce sometimes. Or you can add cheese and heat them up until the cheese melts.
If you want to get real fancy, add some brown sugar, mustard, molasses, and hot pete to your taste. This makes them more like real baked beans.
Basically you can add anything that sounds good to you. Get creative - that's what I do to try and make them taste different so my family won't get tired of the same old thing.
Just have fun with them!!

I put some sugar, brown or white, and mustard ,ketchup, bbq sauce and chopped onion. Put in oven and let bake for around 20 minutes. You really can't go wrong with whatever you add. Sometimes I just put in all the little bits of condiments that I have left and it's usually still good.

Well, put in what you like. Some cut up hot dogs, some use bacon and add molasses or brown sugar mixed with a dollop of mustard.Have fun but remember under seasoning beats over seasoning.

Cook some bacon in a frying pan, then, when it's done, crinkle in a pot with the backed beans. then with the same pan cook some ground turkey or ground beef (you may even want some of both.) When that's done put it bin with the beans and bacon in the. if you need it sweeter, add Brown sugar to your taste,Then your done!

Personally, I like a little bbq sauce a dot or two of soy sauce, cooked bacon and sauteed onions. Then bake them for a bit or even just nuke them.
Enjoy, and be sure to check the pilot light before you go to bed if you eat a whole can. ;)
