had a dog, and i think he some how limited how far the window goes down...not that dogs can control the windows but the dealer didnt mention anything about it...any suggestions?
my friend has a yukon also, and his backseat doors go down all the way

My windows were like that until I took it to a local mechanic and he fixed it.

Yukon XL back windows go all the way down. Yukon back windows don't. The difference is the cut away for the rear wheel that isn't present on the XL.

They go 1/4 of the way cause they where made like that STOCK. Is some kind of pretection for kids seating in the back seat to take out there arms or legs out of the window. Hope this helps

he may have put a blocker inside the door panel area, to stop the window where he wanted it. pull door panel and see. good luck.
