We aren’t really fighting a war with terror, we are losing a struggle with political correctness. It is not so much the evil of outsiders; it is the cowardice of Americans.
The cowardice that won’t let us call a spade a spade, the makes us all live in an alternate reality, that puts survival secondary to servility. We are fighting World War III with one arm tied behind our back.
Political correctness has sanitized this fight to such an extent that we are not allowed to even identify the enemy. Which is not toothpaste. It is Islam. An Islam practiced by tens of millions of people around the world and which repeatedly and consistently puts armies and cells of terrorists in action around the world. How many terrorist acts have been committed involving
liquids carried onto airplanes by passengers? Answer: Zero.
How many terrorist acts involving airliners have been
committed by Muslims? Answer: All of them.
Why are we focused on liquids instead of Muslims? Answer: Beats me!

Why can't you take your toothpaste?
Because you are probably a white or black American who doesn't fit the typical profile of a Mideast islamic terrorist.

And many hundreds of thousands of dollars (of our tax dollars) must be spent on airport security to give the appearance that our so-called "Homeland Security" department is being proactive (as they shake down that little old granny in the wheelchair because she just might be dangerous - don't laugh, I saw that happen at the San Diego airport this year).

Look: regardless of what some might think about Israel, our security nimrods could learn A LOT from the Israeli officials.
When was the last time they had a risk on their jets?

All the while, lets spend MORE of our tax dollars to play 'touchy-feely-don't-offend anyone' games.

Because it is not the business of the airline industry to promote good dental health. That responsiblitly lies with the Dental Society. You don't see the Dental Society urging you to fly do you. See everybody has there own purpose and they try not to mix them up. It's just bad business to get involved in other peoples business. Now I hope that brings clarity and understanding to this issue.
