Because sometimes when a man asks a woman a question, she answers it trying to make the man happy. It wasn't what we really wanted but we say yes or answer the way we think he wants. So maybe if men would ask us "are you sure" you would get a totally different answer.
As times change and women get more independent for some reason we still want to make the man happy. (I'm not saying this is a good or bad thing)

Because usually a guy will lie and say everything's fine when it's not just to keep the woman happy, so a woman needs to ask more than once if the guy is sure!

I dont know....guess it's because most men are'nt sure or they're really not paying attention, so we ask to make sure that you actually understood.

Women communicate differently than men. They use both sides of their brains for communication, men only use one.

Maybe because she is insecure. Or that she knows that you lie and is trying to verify that what you said was correct.

Either because she doesn't believe you or she doesn't like the answer and is giving you a chance to change it. --Yeah, we're difficult.
