:) Hello there!

Many people critisize Israel because of the latest war.
Well, too bad so sad! I totally agree about what Israel has done.

People should critizise Lebanon instead.
If they don't want war, and the hezballah has only interfered with Lebanon, and Lebanon don't want them, why is it that ..

Children and adults in the streets of Beirut were accepting stickers, candies, and flags of the hezballah ? This was before the war.

You should have seen after the war! People were dancing and saying how much they love the Hezballah, yes Lebanese resident,s random ones.

Yes, Israel has killed people, but I don't agree with you, they are not innocent. Who ever doesn't revolt against a bad goverment is a coward! We all know how cowards end up :)

So there you have it the truth!

If you oppose me, then tell me why! I shall always win a debate, especially about an absurd subject like this!

:)

Terslonghorn, you're the one who needs to learn something. Not something, but a lot of things. Think before you write foolish and absurd things as you wrote! OKAY?!

:)

Also, Israel has sacrifices more than you believe. It has shared a lot of land !! We are tired of it, giving a piece of land to this, and that.

You know the whole nine yards..

Ofcourse they love Hebollah, they give them money! and they are Muslim and their leaders tell them that only muslims deserve to live. Pluss, people actually believe all the propegandsa that theMuslim press is saying about Israel. The Israeli press really needs to stoop to the level of theHezbollah, and start throwing pictures of dead and imjured Israeli people out onto the internet and into the papers. And like Hezbollah, use any pictures, not ones from the presrent skirmish. One of the Muslim websites actually had victims of past earthquake and tsumani victims on it saying Israel killed them in the war last month.

You answered the question yourself in the first line. It is what's current. People will talk about what's relevant or what's brought up, don't you think?

Also, the majority of the masses know nothing of Lebanese or the Hezbollah. People will talk about or criticize what they "think" they know about.

It's sad, you're right that not both sides are addressed. And a lot of more of the outspoken people are ignorant rather than the wise few who tend to not get their two cents in.

I would label it anything either. Ignorance is ignorance is ignorance...it's not anti-semitism. Maybe those "in the know" ought to just start a campaign to educate instead of crying out 'anti-semite!'--it's too easy. This is not the way to come to an understanding.

Agreed. We sit back here in our big safe country, with the world's most powerful military and friendly neighbors, and judge Israel- a people who have been fighting for their very survival from the beginning.

Picture yourself living in Texas- and some dissassociated military group that's across the border in Mexico has been threatening that Texas really belongs to them and that all american Texans should be wiped off the map. Mexicans all love this group- as they deep down, feel that Texas should be part of their country. Oh- and venezuela is providing this anti-gringo group with 10's of thousands of rockets- which they lob indescriminately at El Paso. The group comes across into El Paso and kills a few of our border patrol, then kidnaps a few others.

But let's continue the analogy; Texas is really just the size of New Jersy, and the rest of the united states is egging the Anti-Gringo group on, providing them money, and rewarding the family of their suicide bombers.

Just how would America respond? With a heck of a lot more death and destruction- to be sure.

Israel has offered to give back 97% of the occupied territories and they don't ask much in return. Only for the palestinians to recognize the state of israel and stop threatening them. Is that really too much to ask? It's the deal the Arafat walked away from... because he hadn't prepared his people for peace- only war. He had no choice.

1 year ago Israel pulled out of Gaza entirely. Without asking anything in return. Did the Palestinians, with their new found control of the land build schools, roads, a government and police force? No- they built a 300m tunnel to sneak suicide bombers into israel and build munitions factories.

Captain W (below)- if you think that Israel stole Palestinian lands- you need to study up on history a bit. There was no such thing as Palestinians before 1967 (Israel was founded in 1948). They have no unique culture, heretige, language. Another name for palestinians is Egyptians and Jordanians. However- they were not accepted back into their countries and used (very effectively) as political pawns to bring down Israel. granted- the Palestinians have gotten the shaft- but it's been from their fellow Arabs as much as it has been from Israel.

Isreal uses the whole "chosen People" thing to get what they want. No race is better than another. Isreal would not surive without the U.S. or England. We took the natives land starting 500 years ago. Isreal did the same thing in the last century. Both cases were wrong. Isreal should return to the mandated borders set up in 1948.

I am by no means anti Israeli and never have been. however you pro-Israeli's seem to react the same way whenever there is crticism of Israeli actions - by calling people racists.
The Israelis have indeed beeen threatend and attacked by their neighbours, however from the palestinian perspective not only was the state of Israel created from their lands, but this same state has engaged in futher land grab in the area and leaves nothing but death, destruction and hate in its wake wherever it goes. Is it because they think they are the chose people?

You always win debates because you have to win. You are so certain.
Is it right to sow a field with cluster bombs, instantly creating a minefield which is obviously uncharted and not a means of defense? Or is it more akin to what the Romans did to the fields of Carthage when they sowed them with salt to make them infertile?

Israel is God's nation and everyone is supposed to have respect for them. I don't understand why people hate Jews... I don't like to get into politics and stuff but God is in control of everything, and there is a purpose and reason for everything that happens.... The Bible prophesied all the wars....

Maybe israel should learn how to share, (somthing we all learned in first grade) Then there wouldn't be as many problems. Watch the movie Munich, maybe you'll learn a little bit more.

Israelis are warmongers. They have always attacked at the littlest threat of aggression. Two hostages are not worth all the death that has happened in Israel.
