my husband and i are in a real bind for money. he was laid off from his job a few weeks ago. he was able to find another job, but it pays considerably less. we have not been able to catch up from the time he wasn't working, now all our bills are late and we may not be able to make rent. our credit is the greatest. i'm 5 1/2 months pregnant, and even though it's illegal not to hire someone because they are pregnant, it's still a fact that no one will hire me right now. the reason i wasn't working to begin with is because i stay at home with my 1 1/2 year old son, but that's when my husband was bringing in enough to get by on. please, someone give me some advice. i truly am desperate and have not been able to sleep or think straight because of the anxiety. please help.

the cash call is a tough call to make--in order for it not to just become another burden, you really have to decide whether you can afford to pay it off quickly, ahead of schedule, or you will pay so much more for only so much money. if you can be disciplined and really strategize how to use the money most effectively, like to pay off bills so that you can just deal with the one loan repayment, this shark style loan can help buy you some time. if you have ANY other options, do those first.

I havent tried cash call but im sure the interest rates are insane. I recommend you to get a car loan, go to a bank and put your car down as collateral, they will give you a loan for the amount of the fair market value. But you must own the car

If you chose to do so, you can say the car is in excellent condition even tho it is not ( it will increase the loan amount but be reasonable). Because in the end, they didnt define what excellent condition really means, right?

I did that and got 4000 for my car although i couldnt have gotten 11000.

Best of luck.

Do not use one of those loan services. They are a major scam and you will owe forever. You ae better off letting al services lapse until you get caught up. Talk to your landlord and see if he will let you run a little late until you are caught up. Put up flyers offering to babysit around your neighborhood. Move. Do what you have to do, but do not call those places. I've seen stories on newprograms where people borrow $300 from a place like that and 6 months later they still owe $5000 after already repaying several grand on only $300. Those places will run you over.

I know what you are going throuh. I went through this last year when my partner quit his job with no warning and I was left to provide for him, myself, AND our son. It was far from easy. One thing that you could do, is try to consolidate any debt that you might have. Credit cards, car loans, etc. This will eliminate a lot of interest you are accumulating, and will most likely allow for one, lower monthly payment, rather than several. Coupons! Coupons! Coupons! Does your child attend daycare? If so, cut back as much as possible by asking family and friends for help. You'd help them if they needed it, right? Does your state offer assistance? I live in MN. I can say that I am very lucky to live here, as MN is good about helping you out when you need it. Look into things like WIC and daycare assistance. What about low income housing? There are places that will discount your rent if you are considered low-income. Very nice places! Good luck to you and I hope you find work soon!

Be very very careful for loan sharks. Go to the bank and get a real loan.

if you use anything like cash call you will be in debt for thirty years paying back 5000 dollars

if you can ask any and all family members for help. tell them that it is a loan and tell them you will pay them back when you are on your feet again.

also call all of your creditors and try to get extensions. tell them what you told us. some will help.
