Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains that are high in fibers. Examples include whole wheat bread, brown rice, and old fashioned oatmeal. Also, add nuts, such as walnuts to your diet. Since these types of foods are "filling," you will be able to eat less calories throughout the day without feeling hungry. Also, eat a healthy breakfast, such as oatmeal, relgiously. I do, and am never hungry in the morning and am able to better concentrate at work.
Excercise daily, this is also an appetite supressant. If you're not willing to do these things, then you're not going to be healthy and lose weight, if that is your goal, over the long term.

you haven't said if you actually have a weight problem. I have after i gave up smoking. I went to the doctors and he gave me one of the 2 recommended tablets that the Gov will prescribe. These tablets suppress your appetite. I have lost 2 stone since being on this and I am not pissed off for eating less food.

You can suppress your appetite in several ways, many of which are unhealthy. Taking stimulants usually calm your hunger for at least an hour or so, but taking these over a long period of time can be detrimental to your health. I believe the healthiest way to control one's appetite is to maintain an active lifestyle and to get 7-9 hours of sleep. If you sit around all day, anxiety may sit in and a common response is to become an "emotional" eater.

If you are hungry EAT!
If you are just bored, eat very healthy foods. I think the key to weight loss is about organisation,if you have food prepared in advance i.e sticks of celery, cucumber, carrot etc to pick at, but have really generous healthy meals 3 times a day, you should start feeling a bit different. If you find you have too much time on your hands, perhaps try joining a club that interests you.

Eat smaller meals more often, 5 meals a day is good. That way you know it wont be long till you eat again so you wont get pissed off.
You dont really have to 'eat less' because you will be hungry all day. Find low fat healthy food and eat normal portions of that.
If you are hungry you are more likely to snack and get irritable because your blood sugar level is down. I think you are onthe wrong diet.

have a glass of water before you sit down to have a meal. try drinking a juice or water when you are hungry because sometimes the brain confuses hunger and thirst. chew each bite of your food carefully and slowly enjoying each bite. be conscious of your stomach and stop when you no longer feel hungry - don't just eat everything on your plate just because it is there. Hope this helps, good luck
