Check out craigslist.org for your city/state. Click under "pets" people always advertise tons of free animals on that site. Goodluck!

You should be able to call the local SPCA pound and get a kitten. Also, there are many ads in the newspapers, especially on Sunday. Look there and you'll be certain to find one. Make sure if you get it from a person from ad, you take it for shots immediately. From the pound, you don't have to worry because they at least have their temporary shots, wormed, etc. All this is documented.

I'm in Saint Paul, check craigslist.org - there are always lots of people in our area rehoming kittens there. Also check out the Humane Society in St.Paul, Caring for Cats in North St.Paul, and the animal ark in Hastings.

yeah! this guy i know lives on a farm. do you want me to ask about them??? he gave my friend a kitten like a month ago. We work at the university of minnesota - mpls campus. The kittens might be a few months old- is that okay?

go to your local animal shelter and adopt one.
