Well if you are doing it, I'd bring your own supply and when he's ready to jump on you then put it on him...

If he doesn't play along then you'll need to tell him "no glove, no luv"

OR

why not try the new female condoms... they are suppose to have much better sensation for both partners but they do cost ~3X as much as the man-glove style...

Why are girls always so concerned about what MEN want. What about what WOMEN want. Number one you won't hurt his feelings. He's not going to be emotionally hurt because you want him to wear a condom!! Oh my God!! Don't be so afraid of not PLEASING every wish your man has. If he leaves you because of it, so what? It just means that he wasn't good enough for you to begin with. It sounds like he wont' leave you anyway, because you say he respects what you want. But somehow I am a little leary about that comment. If he really respected what you wanted, you would have no need to feel all this pressure about hurting his feelings. Surely he must have said something to make you feel this way. Don't let him get to you. Instead of making you feel guilty, he should be telling you that he is going to wear one without exception unless you are on birth control and he knows neighter of you have STD's. That is how he should be acting if he really cared about you. Don't date a jerk, and if your a virgin still, don't loose your virginity to one. Wait until you find a man who respects you to the point of not making you feel guilty about wanting to have safe sex. And loves you, just as much as you love him.

Tell him that condoms cost about 4 dollars.
Raising a baby costs about 800-1000 dollars a year.

What's the better choice?
Just hand him the condom and tell him it would make you a lot more comfortable if he wore it. Most guys can't feel it very much, and the fact that you'll both be safe relaxes you so you can focus more on him. Plus, not having STD's or infections is a great selling point.
That should work.
;)

You should probably have been wearing a condom from the get go because there is too much out there that you could get like STDS or AIDS not to mention an unwanted baby. If you aren't ready for any of this then you better stand up and speak out. You said that he is understanding so he will understand if he loves you.

Tell him you don't want to risk getting pregnant, and even the best birthcontrol pills or a diaphram won't make it IMPOSSBILE to get pregnat.

As for myself AIDS is a death sentance, a long and painful one at that, and one without a cure. Some people are infected and lie about, others don't even know that they are infected. To prevent this small chance, and to protect my life and the life of my girlfriend, I will always wear a condom unless we can prove to each other that we are TOTALLY clean.

You won't hurt him. Just tell him that you want to wear a condom to protect against pregnancy, etc. He should understand and at least know that you are looking out for not getting pregnant.

It shouldn't hurt his feelings. Did you know 3 out of 4 Americans ages 15 to 49 have genital HPV in the United States? And most of them don't know it because it doesn't show symptoms? Do some research. You'll find a way to tell him to wear a condom, trust me. Don't be stupid.

Tell him that you would feel safer. How can wearing condom hurt anybody feeling is beyond my comprehension. He appears to be reasonable individual.

Just say even if your on the pill, you will feel better if he wears a condom, your not ready for a baby yet. If he is as sweet as you say, it will be no problem.
