lol! It doesnt have quite the same ring to it does it - the ea from pea rhymes well with ee from green. Also names flow better into each other if the last letter of the first word ends in a vowel and the first letter of the second word begins with a consonant. Nice guestion.

Actually, I've seen sprout green paint before. Johnson's paints, if I recall. It's like a light pea green, very retro and quite yummy actually :-)

There's a million shades of each color, and just as many ways to describe each shade. Just look at a big box of crayolas sometime.....all the color names will boggle the mind.
