Okay, I bet you don't know all the facts. Mostly the media just showed the Lebanese side of the story.
First of all, the whole damn war began because the terrorist group, HEZBOLLAH, kidnapped 2 innocent Israeli soldiers, killing the others..
Did you realise , that Israel only wants peace? No, it does not want war! All these years, Israel has given everything just to get their soldiers back from the cruel kidnappers, most of them only dead bodies. They didn't use WAR. But now things have changed. Israel has ZERO TOLERANCE now. Thanks God there war CEASE FIRE, we don't want a WAR WORLD 3 do we ?
Anyways, the whole point of this question is, who do you think if more just? EXPLAIN!
Please, don't be all peaceful and nice, and answer saying ' None, I think war is useless, and both sides are wrong!' .
Please, tell me which side are you on !!

For those of you who only seem to see Israel's brutal side- they've really tried it both ways. Under Ehud Barak- and the Clinton sponsored negotiations, Israel was ready to give back 97% of the occupied territories. Arafat walked away from the deal, and started the intefadah. Blowing up innocent civilians in cafe's in Israel.
One year ago- Israel pulled completely out of Gaza. i.e. no more occupation whatsoever. It's yours, you win. enjoy. What happened? Did the palestinians build roads, schools and buisinesses? No- they built a 300m tunnel to sneak suicide bombers into Israel and munitions factories- and militant groups- far to the right of Hamas have taken up residence and fire rockets at the nearby Israeli towns.
There are a hundred incidents of Israel extending the olive branch. Israel is an incredibly tiny country fighting for its survival every day. Surrounded by neighbors who are bent on wiping them off the map. They want peace more than anything else.
If the surrounding Arab countries and militias put down there arms and recognized Israel- peace would break out in the Middle East. If Israel put down their arms- they'd be slaughtered!

Today, the UN has estimated that there are about 100,000 unexploded munitions on the Lebanese side of the border, as a result of carpet bombing. HOW MANY DID THEY DROP, if that many failed to explode ?
If "Israel only wants peace", why do they keep breaking the ceasefire ?
Why do you use the terms Lebanon & Hezbollah interchangeably, when Hezbollah are not welcomed by many people in South Lebanon - Q how do the Lebanese people say no, when a convoy of heavily armed terrorists sets up shop in their village ?
Isael has 39 civilian dead (almost half were Arabs). Lebanon has 1,600 dead civilians. Who committed the worse attrocity, the side that killed 39 or the side that killed 1,600 ?
There can only be peace, when Israel seeks peace, when Israel does not respond to violence with 10 times the violence. Dead is dead - Muslim, Jew or Christian. When Israel recognised the right to life of every man, woman & child, then perhaps the Arab world might recognise Israel's right to exist.

I was on the lebanese side.
Hezbollah put the Lebanese people in embarrassment by kidnapping the soldiers.
lebanese people and the Lebanese government were not waging war against Israel.
It was one group , Hezbollah, provoking Israel.
Israel reacted by destroying the whole country and making massacres of innocent kids.
Israelis are dumb, violent, and not intelligent.
I am on the Lebanese people's side. No doubt. They are innocent.
israel could have taken back its two soldiers by exchanging them with 600 Hezbollah terrorists, and it would have done the trick.
But if Israel is happy feeding 600 terrorists for life in Israeli prisons with american money... well.. Good for them.

Lebanon..ARE YOU BLIND OR SOMETHING!!!!!!!!..OK you are obviously on Israel's side..but Israel wants peace???..two Innocent soldiers??..how come you say that..peace is on one side of the world Israel is in the exact opposite side..they are killers..pure killers..can't you see what are they doing for people in Palestine..they are killing them with no mercy..and now it's Lebanon's turn isreal killed a huge number of Innocent people just because of those 2 soldiers..actually it doesn't matter on which side anyone is..coz it'll never bring back that women's little son or that boy's mum or dad..they are gone for ever..we might keep arguing on who's wrong or who's right forever..that's useless too

My choice has never changed. Hezbollah has been a danger for years, so I have to side with Israel. It is the only sane choice.

Do you want us to believe that for two soldiers you can destroy a country and lebanon have more than 1000 innocent people in the israeli prisons...and another thing israel pretends that hezbollah have missiles in the places that it attacks but nothing was found just kids and womens ..so i believe i'm with lebanon

And what about the thousnads and thousnads of CHILDREN who are captured in Israeli prisons? Is it OK to hold them, but it isn't with two soldiers? I think kidnapping two soldiers (BTW: The US gave 'green light' for Israel to bomb Lebanon, months before the two soldiers were kidnapped) does in NO way justify total destruction of Lebanese infrastructures and civilian buildings. Did you see the statstics and pictures of the Lebanese children KILLED and taken as prisoners? In the late war Israel killed over 330 children and 1000 Lebanese civilains. Israel is now challanging cease fire by saying that they won't listen to KUFI ANAN, who asked them to stop their seige around Lebanon. (I don't think Kufi Anan is terrorist).
P.S: I'm NOT Lebanese, I'm an American girl who seeks truth.

Isreal, they have taken all this crap for years, and now they finally burst. I remember before it REALLY started, isreal was threatening to do this, but Lebanon didn't care. I wouldn't be suprised if at the end of this war one of the countries have bean taken over by the other.
