Ms.

I vote for Ms. It's respectful, but says nothing about your marital status. And why should your name have to tell everyone whether you are married or not? That was the whole point of "Ms" when it came into use about 40 years ago. Even women who have taken their husband's last name often use it.

"Miss" says "I am not married"
"Mrs." says "I'm married". It also IMPLIES "I'm married to a man with this last name".

I think you should use Ms. as your prefix. Since your not changing you last name then you should not have to us Mrs. You know your married and that's all that matters.

That's a good question. On one hand I would say to use Mrs because that implies that you are married but with your last name it would imply that you are married to a man with that last name. I would say to use Ms. but that means you are not married... Go with Miss because I like that one. It seems less formal and people will use that if they do not know the status of someone. Tho usually used for younger ladies I think...

Mrs. if you are traditional, or Ms. if you are more of a free spirit. Mrs. indicates you have a husband, and Ms. just says you are an adult female, but doesn't say if you are married or single. Miss. states you are a single woman, and eligible.

Congrats on getting married, it's a wonderful thing.

Ms is correct for any and all marital status. Miss is for unmarried only. Mrs. is only appropriate when used with the husband's name (Mrs. John Smith). In your situation, your option is Ms. (btw...I didn't change my name for 2 years after marriage)

Whichever makes you comfortable. I have never had much fondness for Ms., and Miss doesn't fit, so I'd pick Mrs. You can go as either Mrs. Kathy Doe or (using your new title, on occasions when it is suitable) as Mrs. John Smith.

Mrs. means you're married. If you are against labeling yourself as married, then just use Ms. Many younger married women use that, but I'd suggest Mrs. Married is married, no use in labeling yourself in any way misleading.

Good question. Use Mrs. You're still married. It's not a law you take your husband's last name, as a matter of fact he could take your last name, in which case you'd still be MRS. so and so....
