I think so many times women stay with their men that are really no good because they think they can change them. They let the few good times drown out the bad. If more women started having self esteem and realize that anyone who truly cared about you would never repeatedly hurt them they would leave. Instead of focusing on the good things that you have been through together, remember how bad it hurts in the bad times. The things he says that hurt so bad, the hits, the cheating and remember it always gets worse. When you find out why you keep allowing this person to hurt you you can break free.

Oh shugga, you never get over him. You just learn ways to curb your thought patterns. It's all part of the letting go process. You'll find that throughout time you will think of him every so often and then less and less, but in truth, atleast for me, it doesn't ever really go away. It's called love... and when you decided that he wasn't good for you it turned to tough love. It's called that for a reason... good luck.

by realizing and actually realizing that you're doing your best by moving on and leaving this person alone. think of him alone and by yourself without judgement from others. this will help you celebrate your new good descision and also mourn the love you have for him. don't ever stop loving him, theres nothing wrong with that, but don't be the fool on the tail end of the stick as my grandma used to say. think about it. Good Luck

If you know he's not good for you, find someone else that is good. That will take your mind off the one you broke up with.
