Keep in mind that Pollen and dust granules are inhaled by dogs just as they are by dog owners, but instead of producing sinus congestion and a sore throat, they cause the skin to itch, the hair to fall out, and, with prolonged scratching, the eruption of pustules that often become infected. A flea or two can add to the misery, and if Lad is allergic to something in his diet as well, watch out. Allergies can lead to stomach and intestinal problems, including vomiting and diarrhea, and are often accompanied by ear infections.

Some breeds of dogs seem to be prone to development of allergies, but all dogs can be affect

Now if you want to know which breed is the best for allergy sufferers, then one would have to go to the American Hairless Terrier

Chinese Crested- They have no hair so they are wonderful for people with allergies. Labs are shedding dogs so they are bad for people with allergies. If you don't like the chinese crested anything that does not shed and needs trimmed would be better. this would be a cocker, schnauzer, shitzu, maltese, there are a lot of them.

Pet allergies are often caused by the pet's fur. That is why many say poodles make for good pets for people suffering from allergies. Poodles don't have fur, they actually have hair, just like humans, and won't cause allergy irritations.

I know there are other breed that also have this trait.

For people with allergies to dander the best breeds are those with hair not fur. That includes Airedales, poodles and Portuguese water dogs for starters. Call a vet and ask.

to % a high quality commercial nutrition, develop right into a label reader and think of "extreme 5". the 1st 5 components indexed on the label will incorporate the main suitable volume of weight of the product. the 1st actual element could desire to be a meat. the subsequent 4 could be vegetables and finished grains (see below). A 2d meat interior the suited 5 is honestly sturdy. What could in no way be interior the suited 5 are corn, wheat, soy, or any via-product. For an allergic canines i might purely feed a grain-loose nutrition plan. There should not be any wheat, wheat gluten, wheat meal, or something wheat in any respect interior the nutrition.

Dogs have dander on the skin, see if your wife can tolerate this first. Otherwise try a hairless variety or poodle or schnauzer. All 3 do not shed at all.

There are dogs that are anti allergen. Poodles for example and other dogs which don't shed. Call your local vets or humane society for a list of dogs that fit that requirement.
