I have lost 50lbs so far (after the birth of my daughter)and still would like to lose another 50. It seems that when I constantly think and obsess over the weight I gain, but if I dont I lose easier. I lost the first 50 by not sitting on my butt as much and not eating so much crap. Simple as that. Now I feel overwhelmed that I still need to lose so much more. I look better and get compliments, but still am big. Any experiences with weight loss would be great. It seems overwhelming at time, but I am tired of being fat I want to wear cute clothes again.

Top weight loss tips

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.

* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.

* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.

* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.

* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.

* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.

* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.

* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.

* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!

* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Good luck and stick at it.

After I had my daughter I had 60 plus lbs on. I started walking everyday with my daughter in the stroller. No pressure, just a nice walk with a destination like the park - not the sub shop (like i did when pregnant) Within a few months I lost all my weight and then some. It wasn't hard at all. The first day is the hardest not because of the physical strain (if any) but just talking yourself into doing it. Once you do that your on your way. It's so easy. And a great time for your toddler to nap or just watch the scenery go by. Try walking for 15 minutes a day then build up. I was walking for 1 hr a day after a few weeks. It felt great being out of the house and away from housework and the fridge.

Congratulations on the 50 pound weight loss already! That's a success you should be proud of. Springboard off that success by really focusing on healthy nutrition every day keeping an eye on the portion size you consume at each meal. This is the number one cause to weight gain, overeating at meals. Control that portion size, drink lots of water, and get a regular form of exercise and 6-8 months from now, those other 50 pounds will be gone also. This may help with tracking your daily calorie intake --> http://healthychoicesinlife.com/guide-how-to-use-a-calorie-counter-app/

Here are few tips to lose weight fast.

Play sports

Go for a walk

Exercise regularly

Get up and dance

Drink plenty of water

Skip the soda

Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals is an easy way to earn a round waistline. When you skip meals, your body responds by raising cortisol levels, increasing cravings and storing fat, especially in the abdomen.

Consuming small meals and snacks throughout the day can pacify cravings and rev up your metabolism to prevent fat storage.

I have tried many products to help me lose weight. Most made me jittery, or just did nothing for me. weight loss green store tea actually did what it is supposed to do: suppressed my appetite. I am pleasantly surprised with my progress. I have been taking them for a little over 3 weeks, and have lost 8.5 pounds. I am doing some exercise- and have been eating regular meals. The only difference is I am not OVEREATING at those meals like before. I bought online from www.weightlossgreenstore.net

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didnt get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out Dr. Charles Livingston's video here: http://www.sexyjese.com - it will blow your mind.

that sounded like a giant advertisement So I used to be this skinny little thing. All butt and boobs, nothing else, 125 lbs. well then I had a baby. And I got lazy. I continued to eat the same way I had always eaten even though I was nowhere near the activity level I had been previously [i was a cheerleader so spent the majority of my evenings after school at the gym] Pretty soon I had ballooned up to 170 lbs. Yikes. I was in major denial despite the fact that my jean sizes as I bought them were getting bigger and bigger. i was at a 12/13. It finally hit me when my mother in law took pictures at christmas just how big I was. It was gross, I looked gross, and my head looked too small for my body. So I started with the hcg diet. i didnt follow the diet nearly as closely as you are supposed to and lost 10 lbs. However, even eating more than I was supposed to I was still basically starving myself. Which will do nothing for you. Muscles will burn far more calories even at rest than fat will. So I bought Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. It was awesome. It kicked my butt. and it was pretty much just a 20 minute workout. But just doing that was a little boring so I found a dance studio in town that offered adult age classes and started throwing in a ballet class here and there just to break up the tedium of doing the same workout everyday. Then i went to planet fitness and got a gym membership. The idea is to mix it up so you arent bored with your workouts because boredom is like the #2 reason people quit. The number one reason being they arent getting results as quickly as they expect or want. You have to always keep in mind that you didnt gain it overnight, you wont lose it overnight. Dont get frustrated if you dont lose anything for awhile. At first you will probably lose like crazy and then it will slow down a bit as you dont have as much to lose. I havent lost anything really in a few weeks, but I dropped a pant size. My body is just catching up to itself. Dont deprive your self. after that first diet attempt I stopped saying I cant eat this this or this. I eat what I like and dont force myself to eat foods I dont. A diet will never work if it isnt something you can stick to. it shouldnt be a diet, it should be a lifestyle change because if you go in with the mentality that "this is temporary" you will gain it back as soon as you revert to old habits. I keep close track of my calories. At first it will be a lot of work, but eventually you will be able to remember how many calories are in what and keep track mentally. Also remember that once you lose so much weight, you'll need to decrease your daily intake to continue losing. I use Myfitnesspal on my phone, and also have a sparkpeople account [both are free] so those are helpful in keeping track and sparkpeople offers many tips and support. I've dropped from a 12/13 to a 6/7/8. Im wearing a pair of 10's right now but they are my baggy jeans now where as before I broke one of the belt loops using it to pull them up.
