Seems like Christ was pretty non judgemental. Sure he said some things like sin no more and stuff like that but he never said you are going to hell if you are gay, he never said democrates are baby killers and are going to hell for being part of that party. I actually am embarrased to be part of Christianity.

Judging is done by Mortal Man reading in2 the Bible, what they want it 2 mean/say.
The Bible's been re-written a number of times, since it's creation & with every re-write " they've " added, omitted or REWROTE it, 2 suit.

Christ was pretty judgmental to the people in power, but very open to regular people like the discriminated (the Samaritans, prostitutes, women, poor people, sick people). From what the gospels say, Jesus only really surrounded himself with his disciples and ministered to the sick and the masses. He obviously made judgments about his disciples, i.e., his friends, and chose Paul on whom to build the church.

You are right, Jesus never attacks homosexuals, but Paul did and today's Christianity is really Paulism.

Jesus does talk about fidelity and marriage though.

God and Jesus never state that being judgmental is bad, it is just that you are not be a hypocrite. Making choices between good and evil is a choice and requires judgment.

This whole nonsense that people cannot be judgmental has no basis in Christianity or common sense. Judgment protects us and allows us to live the life that God wants us to live.

By the way, Jesus did bash the heads of the money changers in the temple (if that story is true). He also scorned the tree.

I am a christian, I am not judgmental. What motivates others to be is a good question. Judging is not for man to do, that is God's job. Like I always say I have never seen Jesus come down and bash anybody over the head with a Bible. If a person wants to tell others about Christ, (what its all about anyway) they should do it in a way that is non-judgmental. If we are that way no one wants to listen anyway. So when Christians wonder why a lot of times why they are so persecuted at times...listen to yourself and think about how you approach others. Have a Great Day!

Christians look around and see people acting in ways that they think are "un- or anti-Christian" and appoint themselves as the ones to "rescue" everyone else. It is only a short step from passing judgement on people who refuse to "see the light" (aka: become like them).

For some reason, they never consider Matthew 6:6

To me they are actually not real Christians, i've got been taken care of wrongly by making use of a few Christians and that i disagree and refuse yet now when I see them decide I in simple terms say to them "i presumed God is the only that judges people not you so needless to say your not a real Christian". i presumed to be a real Christian, you ought to pass by making use of the regulations of what the bible says and the ten commandments and to be good individual too. Im with you on that question and comprehend it completely as some right here do not.

Judgement.
Very dangerous stuff.
We all do it.
It is part of our nature.
There are some very non-christian christians out there, caution.
I don't even like to call myself a christian, too overused.
I believe in God the father and in Christ His son and the hold spirit, we all are the church and should stand as one.
Oneness, let's all try to get there.

Peace.

We are not supposed to be judgmental, but it's hard not to. We have a book that tells us specific things, and we see people who are not even trying to follow those rules, much less feel like they're doing anything wrong. It's very complicated to be a Christian in the world today, either being exiled from society, or feeling like you are failing in your religion.

The only thing that would make anyone judgmental of others(regardless of faith) is EVIL(the devil himself).

I think the Devil will often disguise himself as a person of faith and manipulate true believers in that forum...thus recruiting unknowing souls to his fiery palace.

Besides.......In this day and age as we approach the final judgment; Do you really feel that true believers have time to judge or even recruit more potential souls for the Lord.

Could it possibly be too late ??

That's a pretty big group of people to be so judgemental about.

Because they don't base their lives on the teachings of Christ and they are thorn bushes who claim to be sweet fig trees....You will know them by their fruits.
