One of your close friends will make an excellent interior decorator. Although there are wonderfull decorators out there... they're typically 'for-hire best friends'. Find a friend whoms taste you agree with and go shopping, have fun, and enjoy being out with this person. Also, shop the higher-end stores and learn decorating skills in the process... these stores provide their employees a tremendous amount of training and can help you out big time! Why pay top dollar for a good decorator when you have the skills and the ability amongst yourself, a wonderful friend, and your high-end retailers.

Where do you live? I'm an interior decorator and I might be able to find someone for you, or help you out with any questions. Let me know...

Ask a friend whose style you admire to help you with your questions. They will be flattered and it will be free - you provide the dinner.
