Yes, there is clear evidence at the Jagganatha temple in Orissa that a sadhu named Yishi studied and taught in the region a little over 2,000 years ago, it was reported that he left Jagganath Puri to deliver the teachings of love for God in the desert lands(The middle East)
Unfortunately his pure and powerful message was threatening to the established church leaders of the time, so he was unable to deliver the complete information, having been put to death by the Romans through the political manipulation of the established religious hierarchy of that period.
There is further evidence that being an advanced Yogi, Jesus or Yishi was able to feign his own death and return to the Himalayas and Tibet.
Christian doctrine was then forged and moulded as a semi political/economical vehicle to claim exclusive rights to salvation through faith alone, such a cheap method of enlightenment has deluded many followers into a false sense of delusional security that pervades large portions of society to the present day.

It is false that Jesus visited India.
Both muslims and christians somehow want control over India and they will find any excuse or any loophole to get into india and take it for their own.
Muslims have used violence. Christians are now using the bible.
They forget that there is no proof that Jesus wrote the bible and in the process of spreading christianity they have violated other people's rights.
This is a false story. If it is made out to be true, the bible is scrap paper and total control of India will be taken by Christians and muslims.
A gross human rights violation.
What else will non hindus come up with? Have you all not done enough damage to hindus?
How disgusting.

No, Jesus did not visit India. Reason: He died. WHAT WAS JESUS' CONDITION: The scourging produced deep stripelike lacerations and appreciable blood loss and it probably set the stage for hypovolemic shock as evidenced by the fact that Jesus was too weakened to carry the crossbar (patibulum) to Golgotha. At the site of crucifixion his wrists were nailed to the patibulum and after the patibulum was lifted onto the upright post (stipes) his feet were nailed to the stipes. The major pathophysiologic effect of crucifixion was an interference with normal respirations. Accordingly death resulted primarily from hypovolemic shock and exhaustion asphyxia. JESUS' DEATH WAS ENSURED by the thrust of a soldier s spear into his side.(John 19:33-34). Modern medical interpretation of the historical evidence indicates that Jesus was dead when taken down from the cross. After He was taken down from the cross a man named Joseph, of Aramethia helped to put Jesus to rest (John 19:38-42) I hope this answers the question. @Karma of the poodle: I respectfully ask you weather you were the same poodle watching Jesus? as you seem to know that Jesus was in "tip top condition" on the cross. I cannot seem to accept that you are trying to make sense of the titbits of knowlege that you have collected by propably googling this question. The CLAIMS (thats all that they are) that you make have been discussed and discarded as they hold no crediblity. It is better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Yes Lord Jesus had acquired the skills to fake death from his childhood days in India.
These skills are based on Yoga.
Christianity is based on the statement that 'Lord Jesus died on the cross for our sins'.
If 'his death on the cross' is proved not to be true then?
The Hindus do not mean harm to the Christians so they have kept the secret about Lord Jesus all these years.
Hinduism practises live and let live.
They are aware that Christianity will collapse if the truth was revealed.
Christianity needs to be broad based on human values.
Hinduism is based on this and survived.
Apologies to my Christian friends who may be offended by this.

I think he was a preacher, like many others at that time and that he was killed by the Romans because he was gaining too much importance locally. I don't believe he fled nor resurrected.

I seriously doubt the guy even existed. If he did, all the details are so wound up in myths and legends that we don't really know anything about him, including whether or not he went to India.

So who was it that the great Roman Army put on the cross??
You mean to tell me that such a superior army as was the Roman Army, they lost a man that was beaten beyond recognition a man that they put on a cross and in a tomb, sealed it by orders of the governor (ruler) somehow managed to escape and move to India...Yeah right!!
Jesus dies on the cross and was placed in the tomb and by Gods almighty power was raised from the dead and was raised into the heaven. THIS IS FACT not theory...

"A careful comparison, word by word, sentence by sentence shows that the Christian Gospels are Pirate-copies of the Buddhist Gospels. God's word, therefore, is originally Buddha's word.
Comparison reveals that there is no person, no event, no locality mentioned in the four Christian Gospels not already present in the Buddhist Gospels that, for sure, are far earlier in time than their Christian copies."

I heard he was in Japan too. Then again, perhaps the story of Jesus spread through all the world like wildfire.
