Christians believe that Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses. Therefore Christians are not held to the ceremonial parts of the Mosaic Law concerning of dietary purity and temple worship.
Christians are held to the moral law of God, some of which is expressed in the Ten Commandments.
The first Christians were Jews. They went to temple or synagogue on the Sabbath (Saturday) with fellow Jews.
Then they gathered on the first day of the week, the day on which Jesus rose from the dead (Sunday), with fellow Christians to tell stories of Jesus and share Eucharist.
Later Gentiles joined Christianity. The Apostles, filled with the Holy Spirit, decided that the Gentiles did not have to covert to Judaism. Therefore, they only attended on Sundays and did not have to abide by Jewish dietary laws.
Christians believe that Jesus' Resurrection has changed the Lord's Day to Sunday.
This has been the practice ever since.
With love in Christ.

Sabbath Day was taken from the word Seventh Day... that is the logical answer to that and counting Sunday as the first day of creation (because of the light that was said on the first day of creation in Genesis)..too bad.. with Christian's ploy to get away from the Jewish Sabbath Day, they officially declared Monday to be the first day of the week so the 7th will fall on a Sunday since Rome being a Pagan believer of the the Sun God and deceptively call it as the Risen Lord's Day.
Another thing surprising there is that the 7th Day Adventist claiming to be the remnant Church of God whose traditions and practices are really very good to my observations have carried the name of their Idol who desecrated the Jewish Sabbath Day of rest. The idol who said "Not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the law until everything is accomplished..Matthew 5:18" and yet did the healing on a Sabbath Day and called himself "Lord of the Sabbath" Matthew 12:.....

The law of Moses and the law of 10 commandments is not the same thing. Jesus did fulfill the law of Moses, but the 10 commandments are eternal. If God had thought that the day of the rest is irrelevant, He would have said so. People got killed for disobeying Sabbath, you can read about it in the Old Testament. What would they ask God now if they agreed with some of the answers: Lord, you punished us for disobeying your Sabbath and now you are allowing people to choose any day for the day of rest to their liking. How come?
Such God wouldnt be fair. And we know our God is just God and treats all people equally.

the word saturday comes from a translation of Sabbath day! HIS commandment to remember it and keep it Holy( Holy def= by GOD,from GOD, For GOD) was important to immature disciples(i.e., tribe of Israel) in their training to follow GOD's will and Not their own will. Take note that while it would be a great thing to not work on saturday anyone being sick or under physicians care over the weekend requires the services of human beings on site.

Since Jesus fulfilled the law and Christians are not under obligation to follow the multitude of Jewish laws, it doesn't really matter anymore.
Please read the books of 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galations, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians to see how Paul explains this to each one of them.
That does not mean that we dont follow the priniciples that those laws contained. And, Jesus said that the two greatest commandments were to love God and your fellow man. The whole law was supported by those two fundamental laws.
If one follows just those 2 commandments, then one would not break any of the other laws.
As to the 7th day church you refer to - I can not answer for them.

If you have a wife, does she have to go home with you or can she maybe come home with me? Why not ask her if you can take her home or if it really matters to her if you take some other woman home with you instead? God blessed a certain day, the Seventh one, and made that one day Holy. Does it matter then which day you worship Him on? Same as it matters to your wife who you take home. The bible says the remnant church would be keeping the commandments of God and have the Testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of Prophecy. Now I would say that if they are doing that and have the prophet to boot as the scripture says, that would be a good reason to be claiming that, don't you?

From studying the solutions they don't look to be jewish yet keep on with a jewish savior. The Sabbath became only for the jews. gentiles/christians do not keep on with the jewish regulation, moses regulation, previous testomony, etc. Jesus is the Lord of The Sabbath, HE created each little thing, He created guy and woman, He created The Sabbath and blessed it and advised us to bear in mind it AND keep IT HOLY. Rejecting the Holy Sabbath and the preparation of Christ and then to computer screen/settle for a pagan day of solar day in selection to and nevertheless declare to be followers of Christ; (saved through grace)even even with the undeniable fact that rejecting each little thing else because it "in ordinary words applies to the jews/Israel". From the type of line of questioning how do they settle for the flow with a jewish savior? they're following after false impression and the pretend traditions of guy. As for me and my living house we will keep on with the Lord...satisfied Sabbath...

I wouldn't make a big issue out of this. The Seventh Day Adventists that I have met love the Lord and honor Him.

God wants...us to take one day out of our week and make it, His Holy Day (Sabbath). Make it whatever day you want or need.
If you are worshiping God on Wednesday...He will honor it! It's not the name of the day...but what the day is full of!
Christianity is about relationship not religion!
Grace and God Bless!
