Help her get her baby stuff together. Hopefully she has a crib by now, and changing table. They are important. (Baby messes on the bed never go away) Give her a baby shower, and help her stock up on formula if not breast feeding, baby supplies like diapers, wipes, cloths, clothes. Next month is chilly weather going into winter so warm baby blankets, sheets towels. And just listen to her hormone venting. Mood swings continue after birth too. Help with her sleep by caring for the baby so she can nap. Cook her meals she can warm up, do her shopping for her after the baby is here. Any little thing helps, new babies are very over whelming. Is she a single mom? If she needs help local churches and charities can help get her a crib and baby supplies. Plus the United Way can help with Christmas. You don't need alot of fancy stuff, just the basics. E mail me if you need more advice.

Just be a good friend and ask her what she needs help with. It's not a bad idea to make some meals for her now and freeze them so she doesn't have to cook once the baby arrives. You can also deliver some fresh food to her so she doesn't have to worry about cooking.

Support her and talk with her about her fears and her excitement. You could also offer to help her get ready by setting up the baby's room with her or getting her bags ready for the hospital. Take her out for ice cream to get out of the house.

I would take her out to dinner. buy a basket and put some things in it that she might like. Example: baby book, photo album, goodies. You catch my drift. But a nice meaning full card in the basket and tell her how much you care and excited for her.

Be her friend. Remember once the baby is born things will be hard for her and she will still need someone to be her friend even if she can't get out much.
