one is a two year degree (an associate degree) and one is a 4 year degree (the bachelor degree). Depending on what a person is interested in would depend on what degree is best for them. Many computer degrees are in specific areas and an associate degree is best for them. However, if someone is wanting to become a teacher, a bachelor's degree is the way to go, for example.
