If the freezer is still cold everything should be okay, but after three days of no power, I would say nothing out of either.

Anything in the freezer that still has ice crystals in it should be safe.

Anything that you normally might leave out of the refrigerator for a few days probably is okay (Parmesean cheese, apples, dried things, etc.) unless something has leaked onto them. If your refrigerator smells, you probably will have to get rid of everything. Anything you do recover has to be used pretty quick because some foods (like fruits) release gases that hasten the breakdown of other food.

Nothing from the fridge. It has gone above 40 degrees by now. Freezers - they tend to say 72 hrs and then toss the food. Hours can be cancelled out by leaky seals. I'd say toss the food instead of tossing your cookies.

As long as stuff is still cold, and frozen, everything should be alright int he freezer, as for the fridge if you have lunch meats and thawing meats they should be thrown out. Like they say, when in doubt throw it out.

Anything that isn't necessary to refrigerate anyways...but we all do out of habit. Mustard and ketchup come to mind. Yum, all the choices. lol Sorry about your luck!! I had that happen once!

if it still feels cool and does not smell probably good. Can you get ice in a buket. They used to call them ice boxes for a reason.
