get some 2x4's to set under the head board screw them together . Just make sure that it is secure the last thing you want is to be awaken in the middle of the night by a bed that has slipped off the boards. You might want to try making a "box" by screwing boards around the outside edge making a small lip to keep the legs from slipping off. Not a real hard job just a little time consuming. And probably will not cost more than $10. See if there are supplies in your garage or if friends have scrap lumber, or even drive by a new home in construction and pull some out that they have thrown away. DO NOT steal lumber, just grab what they have thrown in the dumpster. You shouldn't need a lot.

Take some encyclopedias or hard cover books stack them under the mattress or the foot part of the bed so it raises the mattress area up at the head.
Remember to put a towel or small pillow on the hollow of the neck at night, relieves stress.

i've got fallen off the mattress extremely lots. The final time, I hit my brow on the pointy fringe of my nightstand on the backside. often, I only land on the carpet and not using a scratch. It occurs when I dream that i'm on a rolling platform heading immediately in direction of a concrete wall. I roll to the element to avert the consequence.
