I have made arrangements to have any and all useful parts harvested and then the body to be donated to a teaching hospital (Vanderbilt). They can use parts of the eyes, skin, bone for grafting, heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, and more things are being added. There are not nearly enough donors to supply the need.

On your drivers license you can put the word "all". But when you go into the hospital you need to tell them that on your application as well as tell your family members. Usually when you're bad off your family members won't know your wishes and therefore won't donate those items unless they know your wishes ahead of time. But even then, sometimes they won't listen to your wishes.

Aging is a different thing and can be determined only by your doctor, and from your general health.
From what I've heard there are many bodies already donated for testing, but not enough for things like kidneys, hearts, skin for burn victims but that scientists are learning tomake those items now from stem cells.
