I know they can only take 25% of your wages, I also thought they had to wait in line to take my money. My employer is giving two seperate creditors each 25% of my wages. I cannot support my family on this. I need to know soon, so I can put a stop to it. Thank you for any helpful information.

I live in Missouri and up to 50% of your wages, before taxes, can be garnished by anyone having a judgement against you. So it's not how many creditor's, but how much. They can also "get in line". Like when one creditor drops off and your wages go back up another can step in and begin their garnishment. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll be able to stop it.
