If I get accepted to a college, how much financial aid do they usually award? With pretty good grades, a stable but far from rich family..the usual. Do they typically pay all of the tuition, or do I need to apply for scholarships as well?

Apply for every type of aid you can get your hands on. Scholarships, grants, etc. And see what you can get! All it costs is a little of your time.

You will need to apply for scholarships as well. Unless your family is dirt poor, you will not get enough in grants to pay your tuition.

Apply for anything and everything that you are eligble for. There is also a book at Barnes and Noble that list scholorships that are not always applied for, it list all sorts of scholarships and the criteria. Good luck.

You'll need to apply for loans and a student job.
